Of course I must ask if Yawnie is named in honor of the Andrew Bird song, "Yawny at the Apocalpyse", which, if I'm not mistaken, is about a parakeet.
ReplyDeleteYou know, we're big Bird fans, but I've never heard that song! His name was given him when he was first found on the side of the road 10 years ago. After being taken home, they noticed he yawns a LOT (I've noticed it too!!). It's really cute.
